ICU Clinical Educator/Coordinator, Full time, days (For internal employee only)
Responsible for administrative duties, related to monitoring quality indicators, and implementing clinical education in the Critical Care Unit to ensure compliance with evidence best practice, policies and procedures, quality performance metrics and clinical outcomes. Structures and ensures all education and competency of staff to professional standards, regulations, and evidence based best practices using a variety of teaching methods. Facilitates achievement of staff role clarity, professional role confidence, and proficiency. Operates as a change agent in the practice and learning environment. The position requires knowledge of performance improvement and clinical outcomes. Able to apply quality management methodologies that align with the organization's Performance Improvement Plan. Coordinates the collection, compilation, display, and analysis of data to prepare a summary of reports.
