Under general supervision, the Data Processing Assistant inputs data, assists and trains database users; and formats reports for databases and related applications.
The Well Qualified Candidate Will Possess the Following Knowledge:

Graduation from high school or equivalent, supplemented by 12 semester units or 18 quarter units of college level coursework in computer science or other fields closely related to the job requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation.
Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing
Experience:
One year of experience processing data, producing reports, and providing end-user support for computer databases and applications Additional Requirements:
A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide transportation between jobs sites is required.
Hybrid remote schedules may be available.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
