75 an hour DIRECT SERVICE PROVIDER I Employee Type:
Full Time BASIC RESPONSIBILITY:
The Direct Service Provider I will be responsible for interacting with and providing a safe environment, including social and community support activities, to the participants served.
The Direct Service Provider I is responsible to and reports to the Program Innovation Leader and the Director of Programs.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Actively engage with participants in daily activities that follow a person-centered approach and support the participant's individual program goals.
Encourage participants to join activities while promoting individual choice and decision-making opportunities.
Complete documentation including but not limited to:
daily logs, incident reports, and attendance logs.
Promote community integration by ensuring participants have full access to the community through outings, field trips, and attending special events.
Attend departmental staff meetings and trainings.
Perform additional tasks and duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
General:
MUST be at least 21 years of age.
MUST pass a criminal background check.
MUST have a current California driver's license with a good driving record.
Can lift a minimum of 45lbs.
Strong communication, teambuilding and leadership skills Willingness to learn and be flexible Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Willingness to learn and be flexible Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Education:
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Have and maintain current Red Cross First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in English; Spanish, preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 6 months of experience.
SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION:
Monday - Friday 8:
00am - 4:
30pm.
Some weekends or evening as needed for special events/community events.
403B available with employer 4% provided after employee puts in 6%.
