As the Manufacturing Planner/Estimator you will be leading a team of engineers in the conversion of customer data, drawings, specifications and other related information into deliverable documented production details. This position requires the ability to interpret aerospace product drawings and specifications, follow through on projects from start to finish, and possess technical hands-on experience.
This Manufacturing Planner/Estimator has:
Familiarity with Aerospace raw materials, finishes/treatments and processes, and manufacturing/assembly Best Practices.
Strong sheet-metal fabrication, machine/job shop and chemical processes experience.
Ability to read and fully understand blueprints.
Strong knowledge 1st Article Inspections, comparing a physical sample part with the specifications.
Excellent communications skills with the ability to work with buyer on products, changes, etc. in a fast-paced environment.
Implement Lean Practices; maximizing customer value while minimizing waste.
Manage and input data into MRP system linking to bills of material, routings, and parts to M2M Product.
CAD experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
